Canvas vs Print
Whats the difference?
This is a question we get asked a lot of the time. However, when choosing a medium for your prints it all depends on your tastes, preferences and atheistic needs. Whichever medium you do decide to go for, we will ensure that the print is of the highest quality. Here’s a little more info on prints and canvasses:
Canvas
Canvas prints offer a stylish, low cost and alternative to traditional framing. The prints have a 3D feel that provides a modern touch. Canvas is suited to large size images and can be split into multiple panels for added visual effect. Canvas has an inherent texture which adds a vibrant feel to solid colours with any glare.
Quality
Our Canvas prints are printed on 330gsm Rembrandt Canvas with a Supawood and Masonite frame (block mounted). Canvas prints are shipped in a box.
A print is a classic way of displaying artwork. Artwork on paper is a traditional medium with certain aspects understood and appreciated by many. There is a traditional look and feel and more details with vibrant can be achieved when artwork is printed.
The plethora of frames available makes it possible for the artwork to fit any décor and/or enhance the piece of art. Frames can however become very expensive and prints will reflect sunlight and cause glare.
Quality
Our Prints are printed on 320gsm Epson Premium Lustre (which means that the print reflects a “light shine” so it is more matt that gloss) paper. It is shipped in a postal tube (excludes frame) to ensure the print is not bend or damaged in any way.
